How to Set Up Reverb and Delay Sends in FL Studio

This guide shows you how to set up dedicated effect tracks called 'Sends' or 'Busses.' This allows you to apply the same reverb to multiple instruments while keeping the original signals clean.
Follow these steps
Create an Effect Track
Pick an empty track in the Mixer and rename it 'Reverb.' Load your favorite Reverb plugin into one of the effect slots.
Set Plugin to 100% Wet
Inside the Reverb plugin, set the 'Dry' signal to 0% and the 'Wet' signal to 100%. This is crucial for Send routing.
Route the Instrument to the Send
Select the instrument track you want to add reverb to. Click the 'arrow' at the bottom of the 'Reverb' track to link them.
Control the Effect Level
Adjust the knob above the arrow on the 'Reverb' track. This controls how much of the instrument's sound is sent to the effect.
Common mistakes
- Using the 'Mix' knob inside the plugin instead of the Mixer send knob.
- Sending too many instruments to the same reverb, resulting in a 'washed out' sound.
