Follow these steps
Locate the Channel Rack
Identify the Channel Rack, where you load instruments and create short patterns using the step sequencer. This is the 'brain' of your rhythm and melodies.
Explore the Piano Roll
Find the Piano Roll, which allows for complex note editing. You can access this by right-clicking a channel and selecting 'Piano roll' to draw in melodies.
Understand the Playlist
Look at the Playlist, the large grid where you arrange your patterns, audio clips, and automation to build a full song. This is your arrangement timeline.
Navigate the Mixer
Open the Mixer to balance volume levels and add effects like reverb or EQ. Each channel in the Channel Rack can be routed to a specific mixer track.
Use the Browser
Check the Browser on the left side of the screen. This is where you find your samples, presets, and project files to drag into your production.
